Beyond Generative AI: CATL and Aramco Ventures Bet on DeepCtrls to Power AI’s Second Act in the Physical WorldDeepCtrls has completed its Series B+ financing round, led by CATL, with strategic investment from Aramco Ventures, alongside participation from Taiping Innovation Investment, GF Xinde and Fosun Capital.
Inaugurated on September 17, the DeepCtrls–Chindata joint laboratory builds on both partners’ industry experience and technical expertise. It will focus on intelligent cooling diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and coordinated computing–cooling optimization, bringing Physical AI into core infrastructure operations and advancing next-generation intelligent data centers.

On September 2, the Research Report on Artificial Intelligence Applications for Green Computing debuted at the 2026 Open Data Center Conference and inaugural ODX Expo. Jointly led by DeepCtrls and CAICT’s Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute, it was developed with CATL, Foxconn Industrial Internet, Shanghai Unicom, Chindata, and other industry partners.
